Ask any career center what the biggest blocker to student placement is, and it's rarely a lack of relevant experience — it's a lack of legible experience. Students undersell real work because they wrote it down badly, months after the fact, from memory.

The same gap shows up on the hiring side. Recruiters skim hundreds of resumes that all use the same three verbs — 'led', 'built', 'managed' — with no way to tell which claims are backed by anything real and which are optimistic paraphrasing.
