Events

Events cover hackathons, career fairs, workshops, and campus social events — anything with a date and a place rather than a syllabus.

RSVPing

RSVP from Explore or the event's own page. It lands on your Today dashboard and Applications list, and — for events with a chat room set up — adds you to that room's roster.

Roster

The event room's info panel lists everyone attending, with a role badge for anyone beyond the plain-attendee baseline (an Organizer, a Volunteer). The same roster is visible read-only on the event's public Hub page.

Skill tracking

Events credit skills through named positions rather than graded work. The organizer defines a position — "Event Volunteer," "Winner" — each carrying a short skills list, and assigns real attendees to it. Getting assigned is what credits those skills to your profile and resume. See Skill-Scoring System for exactly how that assignment works.
