Projects
Joining a team, the project roster, position-based skill tracking, and the project chat room.
Projects are student- or team-led builds — a class project, a hackathon entry, an ongoing side project recruiting teammates.
Joining
A project's detail page lists its tech stack and any open roles it's recruiting for. Joining puts you on the team roster and gives you access to the project's chat room.
Roster
The project room's info panel lists the whole team. Unlike courses and events, the roster itself carries no role distinction — everyone shows the same baseline "Member" badge; who's doing what lives entirely in the positions below it.
Skill tracking
Like events, projects credit skills through named positions — "Contributor," "Project Lead" — each with its own skills list. Being assigned to one credits those skills to your profile and resume, the same mechanism used for events and jobs. See Skill-Scoring System.
Room info
- •Team — the full roster of everyone on the project.
- •Positions — Contributor, Project Lead, or whatever roles the project has defined, with their skills and current assignees.
- •Skills earned — what you've personally been credited with from this project.
